Challenge
As a new concept entering a crowded food and hospitality market, Slices needed a brand identity that felt distinct, culturally rooted, and community-centered. The goal was to move beyond transactional fast food and establish a recognizable system that could scale across storefront signage, packaging, digital presence, and in-store experience.
Creative Strategy
For Slices, the starting point was the founder’s deeper motivation—creating a brand rooted in belonging. Recognizing that people with disabilities are often marginalized or excluded, the brand required more than a logo; it needed an identity system that communicated openness and community.
As someone native to the flagship city, I brought contextual awareness of local culture and nuance into the research and positioning process. Through market analysis, consulting, and execution, we developed a brand system that feels approachable, culturally grounded, and scalable across storefront, packaging, and digital environments.
